Dress Requirements

    In accordance with By-Law 7 the following states the dress requirement of Members and their guests attending the Club House:
        1. Gentlemen
          Gentlemen are required to wear a suit and tie or long-sleeved tailored jacket and tie between the hours of 11.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
          At other times the following applies:
        • Monday to Friday
          Up until 11.00 am jackets and ties are optional in the Verandah Room and the adjoining verandah. Ties are optional in all other parts of the Club House.
          After 5.00 pm, while a long-sleeved tailored jacket is still required, ties are optional throughout the Club House unless a specified dress code is designated for a Club or private function.
        • On Weekends & Public Holidays
          On Saturdays tailored jackets and ties are optional throughout the Club House until 5.00 pm. After 5.00 pm tailored jackets are then required or the dress code designated for a Club or private function.
          On Sundays and public holidays tailored jackets and ties are optional throughout the Club House at all times.

        Billiard Room and Bridge

        Jacket and ties may be removed in the Billiard Room and jackets may be removed in any room nominated for playing bridge.

        Ladies

        Unless a dress code is designated for a Club or private function ladies dress should at a minimum be smart attire.

        General

        No denim is permitted in the Club House at any time other than those residing in the Club bedrooms who may enter or leave the Club House in any clothing appropriate to their destination.

        The Club will recognise the uniform of a member of any Defence Force, Police or other statutory authority and the national dress of a visitor from overseas.
